PSP favorite Holmfridur Magnusdottir has left the Philadelphia Independence to return to Iceland. Needing more matches before the European Championships, her contract was terminated by mutual consent with the club.

They came to see Ronaldo and the stars of Madrid. They left talking of Michael Farfan, checking their cell phones to see replays of an incredible goal. The Union lost 2-1 to Real Madrid, but a strong performance should give the team confidence heading into the second half of the MLS season.
