All Three Points: Ain’t no sunshine (S14, E2)

Early season optimism in Chester has suddenly turned sour, as the Boys in Blue opened their 2026 campaign with three listless losses. The underlying data still looks fine, but the eye test says something is wrong in U-Ville. Chris and Jeremy break things down.

  1. What’s the problem?
  2. Are the Union playing favorites?
  3. Who is coming to save them – or are they already here?

Good stuff as always – thanks, guys!

As a follow-up question: how many minutes do you think Cavan gets over the next 3 games (Atlanta, Chicago, Charlotte)? I would love to see him more to unlock the offense, but do you even think he’ll play 45-90 minutes? He’s only played 27 minutes across the first 3 games…

Tough to say. He started against America—big game!—but then got taken off early. He had that great moment skinning a guy on the end line but the Union’s “best” attacking moments came after he was gone. I think he should get significant minutes, but hard to say if Carnell agrees.

  3. Are you sending episodes to Spotify? Haven’t had either of the 2026 episodes show up there.

  4. Hey guys, I just checked both Spotify and Pocketcasts, neither of the 2026 episodes are there
