Borussia Dortmund have signed Ukranian winger, Andriy Yarmolenko to replace Ousmane Dembele. Good news for the club. Less than ideal news for Christian Pulisic, who has started in Dembele’s place in both Dortmund’s games and played excellently.

  1. Andriy Yarmolenko is 27 years old and has been playing in a weak league. I don’t think Pulisic has much to worry about, especially having seen BVB on television Saturday. Pulisic was frequently driving into the center and was effective. He may remain in the starting XI even if Yarmolenko lines up at right winger. If the two players are meant to complete for the same position, I’d say it’s a 50-50 contest.

  2. Unless they are getting ready to sell Pulisic.
    There have been offers.

  3. On the plus side, it looks like Haris was not called up by Bosnia which will give him a week off rather than a huge amount of extra travel.
