  1. Allez Le Toux!

But to see it “A newer version of Silverlight needs to be installed”

    No thanks Microsoft bloatware.

  2. Oh man, don’t blame us! I just pulled it from MLSSoccer.com. Find it on YouTube, and we’ll totally post that instead.

  3. Good game by the Union. Le Toux looked much more potent today than in the first game. Maybe Fred adsded something to the midfield that allowed us more possesion/DC is way worse than Seattle. The only quibbles I had tonight was with Seitz, who played well for the most part, but on the first goal, his positioning seemed off, a little too far right to cover the shot, and of course there was the bizarre incident for the second goal. Seitz definitely has talent, but it’s clear he’s still learning. I’m just glad we won, because I would hate to tie because of Jaime Moreno, who is one of the least likable footballers in MLS. And a great turnout by Philly fans–more than 34 thousand!

  4. Jose Maradona says:

After watching the first game in Philadelphia, with a crowd of 34,870 Philadelphia is definitively the second largest soccer city after Seattle in the U.S.A., and it seems as if the PPL Park that is being built with only 18,500 seats capacity is going to need a modification very soon to accommodate at least 25,000 fans, this could be done very easy before the end of the PPL construction by adding more row of seats all around specially in the endline and. All that they have to do is make this section higher at at least as high as the sideline sections, and in the top of the sideline section to add two more row of seats.

  5. Sure, all that they have to do is make this section higher at least as high as the sideline sections, and in the top of the sideline section to add two more row of seats, but that will require another 20 million dollars extra to the current contract and at least to work an additional 30 days, while there is no games being played or in teween games.

  6. I’m thinking that if they sell out every game this year, Jose, we could see them readying for an expansion. That was a great turnout. I thought they should’ve gone for 25k in the new stadium too, but they have time to expand when the time’s right for them.
