In pictures: SheBelieves Cup 2020

On Sunday, March 8th, I traveled to Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ to capture the 2020 SheBelieves Cup. It only seemed fitting that a tournament that embraces women in powerful roles, creating changes in their communities, would play on International Women’s Day.

It was an awesome experience to be surrounded by women and girls of all nationalities, supporting and cheering for each other, while others standing in a unique position of being pioneers in their industries representing the game. I had a great view to take in games and would like for you to join me on the sidelines through this pictorial.

 

The SheBelieves Cup stands on a podium for the players to view, while the crest for the US Women’s National Team creates the perfect backdrop.

Japan vs England:

USA vs Spain:

Players from both teams had moments of frustration with the officials during the game.

The final two games will be played on Wednesday, March 11 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, home of the National Soccer Hall of Fame, as England takes on Spain (4:15 p.m. CT) and the USA plays Japan (7 p.m. CT on ESPNews & TUDN).
