  1. I almost wonder if Serie A is actually trying to outdo and exceed every blunder in what is becoming an ever increasing string of blunders – and then they’re going to turn around and say it was all part of an intentional plan to draw more attention to the problem of racism (which announcement they’ll no doubt televise live from a gorilla enclosure)

No organization can really be that stupid, can they?

  2. So NYCFC now not only plays on the worst pitch in the league, they now play in the two worst pitches?

If I recall, Citi Field is willing to move the pitcher’s mound. If the dimensions are the same, then yes it’s annoying. If they use actual soccer dimensions, it’s maybe a step forward. Pigeons gonna Pigeon though.

Amazing that the Union were now the first team that doubled the size of the league in ten years. What’s more amazing is the growth of USL now. Hmm

  4. $325 million to open a franchise. Wow. And Philly paid $30. I wonder what will happen to the value of all MLS franchises once the league decides it’s “full.” I also wonder where those franchise fee dollars go. Do they fund player salaries across the league? DPs? TAMs and GAMs? Hmmmm.

Well Sugarman paid 30 million and stated they had a ten million dollar budget for players. Some how they’ve built infrastructure to go with the franchise. Do you think he’s paying out of pocket? Hmm

  5. Our Radnor Ronaldo plays U14 and was already stolen from the Union Academy and plays for Bayern! A top prospect there. Family picked up and moved to Germany for the opportunity. Btw, Formerly with LMSC
