The Union’s playoff match against the Red Bulls was one for the record books, while MLS continues expansion by adding Sacramento as its 29th team. Louisville is also getting a soccer team, joining the NWSL in 2021. A brawl in the stands occurred during a match in Mexico causing the match to be abandoned.
The Bethlehem Steel fell to the Charleston Battery 5-1 in their season finale on Saturday afternoon, making it the fourth time in the last five games that the Steel have given up five or more goals in a match.
