Love the show. Glad you guys are back!
Thank you! Really enjoying doing the show again.
How quickly you guys forget Ilsinho. (Change making attacker) !! That being said I’m enjoying the Pod.
A heinous oversight, thank you. I was so focused on strikers that I completely forgot about other players who might attack…
Okay, if we are being picky, Burke was an awesome sub when he was here as well.
I thought of Ilsinho while we were recording but, in truth, Ilsinho’s time as an effective attacking sub was less than one season. It was awesome, but ultimately short-lived. Similar situation with Burke, really. Both had game-winning highs, but for brief periods.
Great discussion. Subscribed. (Not sure why I wasn’t already!)
Great job! I didn’t know you existed 3 years ago, but boy, do I now!! Awesome job! Great start and commentary. My one concern is whether we can keep up this high press all year. The good thing is we don’t have Concacaf this year so it is just weekly games. I think Makyanya (sp?) and Frankie have really improved game over game and are real keepers! Curious to see if they send Frankie back to U2…
That is one of the key questions. High-press teams often peter out over the summer months. But there may be enough bodies to effectively rotate. We’ll see.

Exhibit 2022….
Enjoyed the podcast guys, thanks for recording.
Great listen… Way to hit on some major points. I’ll take being the under dog all year if they keep playing like they are.
Great to have you back. Regarding the next two matches, Nashville is a must win because the lineup for St. Louis will be depleted by call ups. Gazdag, Danley, Bueno and Baribo will all be missing, so the first test of the depth is here.
Nashville maybe a “must-win,” but the weather looks like it will be a serious factor in the outcome of the game.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THIS A WEEKLY THING!!!! I WAS VERY SAD WHEN YOU STOPPED 3years ago and this is the best deep dive podcast available
