On Tuesday, April 12 the United States women’s national team hosted Uzbekistan at Subaru Park for a Friendly match. The USWNT dominated the game with a total of nine goals scored by six different players. The match allowed veteran players for showcase their skills and allowed for younger teammates to gain valuable International experience. Mallory Pugh, Margaret Purce and Ashley Sanchez all scored along with Trinity Rodman who registered her first international goal. Braces by Catarina Macario and captain Rose Lavelle in the first half gave fans a lot to cheer about. Aubrey Kingsbury registered her first cap and her first clean sheet as goalie for the US Team.
This was the first time since 2016 that the USWNT played at Subaru Park, making it their ninth appearance in Chester, PA.

The USWNT will be back on the field in July when they participate in the Concacaf W Championship in Mexico. Having success in this tournament will secure them a place in the World Cup and Olympics. The USWNT has never failed to qualify for those events.
