News roundup: Union 2022 home opener announced, Turner wins MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, USMNT stars in Champions League

The Union will open the 2022 season on February 26th against Minnesota United. 

Jacob Glesnes’ wonder strike happened to be his first playoff goal.

The Union will either play Nashville or Orlando on Sunday afternoon.

  1. Andre Blake got robbed!

    • i won’t say that. admittedly, i haven’t seen enough of Revs this season to justify the landslide votes in favor of Turner. Blake did miss some matches for various reasons, as did Turner. but Turner is key for their impressive record and is having a career season across all competitions. Objectively, he deserves it.

  2. Seattle was the team to beat and RSL did it. Here’s to a Union-RSL MLS Cup (the only matchup that would be at Subaru Park).
