    well… here we are.

There is nothing I’ve seen that particularly gives me hope in this return leg except moments from players –I am sure– will not be playing Wednesday evening… so “let’s just have fun. Who’s bringing the orange slices?”

    • America are 5-1-0 in league play from the beginning of August…. If Union can avoid utter humiliation, I’ll consider it a blessing. But it really feels like a thrashing for the ages is coming our way.

      • I don’t think it’ll be an utter humiliation. Club America has played great in their league but they haven’t scored more than 2 goals in any match. Bad news is that they’ve only conceded 2 goals. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to generate much offensively. A lot of that has to do with the players that have been starting (Flach, Kacper). Our other issue is that we constantly fling crosses into the box with only 1 target. Hopefully we can play a little more centrally and make runs in between the center backs. Santos and Burke would need to start for this to happen. If the Union can snatch the 1st goal then it will really get interesting. Need to drown out all of the Club America fans that are going to be in attendance.
