  1. Keep watching the McKennie goal. Amazing for the quality of the volley and also how wide open he’s left. Hard to fault the instincts of the defenders being drawn to mark Ronaldo there, but still. Doesn’t take much from McKennie’s terrific strike, though. Remarkable how the USMNT has gone from failing to qualify to having an embarrassment of riches when it comes to young talent playing in Europe.
