Which match is your “Union game of the Year”?

The Chicago Fire are now Chicago Fire FC. Their new logo is…not popular.

Who has been linked with a MLS move already?

Some big names are leaving MLS clubs this offseason, including 2 from the Union.

Who’s making the decisions for Nashville as they enter MLS?

Just give Miami the rights to Luis Suarez already.

MLS has too many drafts. Here’s who’s eligible for the re-entry and wavier drafts.

Is Dele Alli one of the best in the world? Jose Mourinho thinks so.

Arsene Wenger has a new job, and it’s not coaching.

Why did the Bundesliga leave FOX for ESPN+?

Its a party in Rio! Flamengo are the Copa Libertadores champions AND Brazilian league champions.

  1. I very much disliked Jorge Jesus when he coached the perfidious Benfica, but since the Brazilian media was slandering him for his experience in the Portuguese league (which they unjustly belittled) and for being Portuguese, his success in both the Libertadores and the Brasileirao please me.

  2. I’m not sure how the Bundesliga thinks going from FS1, that nearly every cable and streaming service subscriber has, to ESPN+ will translate to bigger audiences. It seems like it’s really just a feather in ESPN’s cap to grow subscribers. Maybe it will work in the end, who knows?

    • I’d be curious to find out how many viewers are watching Seria-A on ESPN+. I enjoy flipping back and forth between Premier League and Bundesliga on weekend mornings.

      • I don’t watch Seria A on ESPN +. I would watch the Bundesliga though.

      • I would certainly be curious too. I have been watching it quite a bit more now that it’s on ESPN+. In terms of the Bundesliga…the numbers can’t really be much worse then they already are. I follow a lot of Bundesliga and they just eliminated $140 a year for me to be able to watch. Hopefully ESPN+ price doesn’t go skyhigh, but honestly… MLS, USL, Serie A, and Bundesliga is a great deal now.

      • i watch serie a on espn+

  3. I hope the Mourinho will bring back the trash talking fun player the Dele was in the past. He is a much more well rounded player then when he first appeared, but was playing less flashy roles past two years. Still remember my daughter attempting to flip the ball over her head in a U11 game after watching his volley against Crystal Palace. She has a signed picture from him over her bed, probably one of the few kids with a non-Messi/Ronaldo picture.

    • I heard that Jose asked Dele if he was Dele Alli or his brother. Dele responded the it was him. Jose then asked if he would please play like him then. Smooth move.

  4. John O'Donnell Jr says:

I wonder if Ernst is willing to take a flyer on the waiver draft today? One player who is still young at 23 at the end of January and cost little with a minimum contract is Gedion Zelalem. You would think with little risk for salary or taking up an international spot on the roster he’s with taking a chance on for someone in this league.

    • As an Arsenal fan part of would like the move, but I don’t think Tanner would go for it nor should he. There was a time I was really optimistic about his potential, but he just really hasn’t shown much as a senior player and at 23 is older than Anthony Fontana. And honestly, Fontana looked like the player with more potential last year between the two.

Considering he’d largely be considered too old for Bethlahem, hard to see Tanner going for Zelalem either.

    • Would be interesting to see if we could get Kelyn Rowe. Nice veteran presence at a position of need and he’s had a few down years.

  5. Looks like FC Cincinnati drafted Haris.

  6. That Copa Lib final was pretty crazy!
