Villanova fell to Rutgers 3-2 in overtime on Wednesday night with a goal from Kyle Soroka and an own goal. The Wildcats hosted Pittsburgh on Saturday in their last home game of the season. Nova shutout Pitt 4-0 clinching a Big EAST Tournament berth with goals from Ryan Whalen, Ryan Quane, Hayden Harr and Adetomiwa Adewole. The Wildcats are ranked No. 4 in the Red Division of the tournament.

Temple blanked Fordham 2-0 on Friday night with goals from lead scorer Jared Martinelli and Jake Lister. The Owl’s went on to shutout La Salle 3-0 on Sunday afternoon at McCarthy Stadium with goals from Jared Martinelli, Nolan Hemmer and Homero Rodriguez. Martinelli was awarded his fourth A10 Rookie of the Week title for this week’s performance. The Owls, now ranked No. 4 in the Atlantic 10, have clinched a berth to the A10 Tournament for the third straight year. Temple is ranked No. 7 in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic region.

Drexel defeated Hofstra 2-1 on Wednesday night at the Hofstra Soccer Stadium in Hempstead, NY. The Dragons saw goals from top scorer Nathan Page and sophomore Robert Liberatore. Drexel University is ranked No. 1 in the CAA and No. 6 in the NSCAA South Atlantic region.

Saint Joseph’s managed to earn a 1-1 draw in double overtime against La Salle on Friday night at McCarthy stadium. Hawk Alex Critzos scored in the 27th minute when a miscommunication left the Explorer’s net unguarded. La Salle responded in the 63rd minute with a goal from senior Tom Kalpokas, his first of the season. La Salle University is now ranked No. 11 in the Atlantic 10 and No. 9 in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic region.

The Hawks went on to tie Forham 0-0 in double overtime on Sunday afternoon at Jack Coffee Field in Bronx, NY. Saint Joseph’s remains the bottom ranked team in the A-10.

Penn fell to Brown 1-0 on Saturday night at Rhodes Field. Penn remains the bottom ranked Ivy League team.
