The Union traded up to take UConn goalie Andre Blake with the first pick of the draft. Two trades with Dallas and Toronto landed the Union at #15 where they chose Coastal Carolina’s midfield distributor Pedro Ribeiro. In round 2, the Union nabbed defenders Kevin Cope and Robbie Derschang.
