All Three Points

All 3 Points Podcast: 2025, Episode 7

The Philadelphia Union came out of a packed May on a noteworthy roll and continued that momentum in the first half of June.

The results kept coming, despite injuries, squad rotation, and national team call ups. Wins against Toronto north of the border and Charlotte south of it, sandwiched around a midweek slugfest of a draw in an empty stadium in Dallas mean the Union entered the summer “break” back in the Supporter’s Shield’s driver’s seat (lots of apostrophes there).

Chris and Jeremy are back to break it down, in what is starting to sound like a broken record of goodness.

  1. The Dallas match post red card felt like a good time to give Cavan Sullivan 15-20 minutes to see if he could create something. Run at a defender, make a pass, get a PK on a leg left out hanging. This has never been a Union strong suit, but on the current roster there is no one in the normal rotation that is even average at this.
