On June 1, the Philadelphia Union took on CF Montreal at Subaru Park. During the first half of the game, George Campbell, Daniel Gazdag, and Dominik Yank were all shown yellow cards. In the 45th minute, Ariel Lassiter from CF Montreal was shown a red card for a dangerous play against José Martínez, giving the Union a man-up advantage. At minute 56, Daniel Gazdag converted a PK for the first goal of the night, and two minutes later, Mikeal Uhre scored again, bringing the Union to a 2-1 lead. With the goal from Uhre, Quinn Sullivan registered his fifth assist, and Mikeal his fifth goal of the season. Jack Elliot was ejected from the game at minute 63 for a nasty tackle on Raheem Edwards. Edwards was immediately placed on a stretcher and taken back to the locker rooms. Although the Union had many chances to get the win, they struggled to put the ball in the net, adding another game to the tied column.

For the XI season, eight alumni took the field at half-time. Former players Brian Carroll, Gabe Farfan, Fred, Ilsinho, Michael Lahound, Sébastien Le Toux, Zach Pfeffer and Sheanon Williams were all on hand to be celebrated by the fans for their contributions to the team.
