  1. what preseason games are open to the public?

    • Moved to Fla east coast.8 years ago. Former season ticket holder. This is the mist quiet off-season ever. No news on Wagner, Caranza,Bedoya,New back up goalie, . If this team does not try to improve through free agent aquisition the 2024 season will be a boring disaster. No effort by management to give the fans any glimmer of hope. Even if it’s false hope. The Union need to fire their PR department. Also just read the fine print. No Preseason games open to the public. Like I said just completely restart your PR department. NO EFFORT.

  2. Team heads off for a new season in about 6 days and I’m as underwhelmed as I’ve ever been about an off season..
    .
    I’m bored senseless.

    • I completely agree. What is going on with Carranza, Wagner, Bedoya. No new signings to raise the bar. Last year you saw that other teams talent level has passed us by but it looks like ownership is willing to stay slighly above average. That is what we are, competitive but not a threat.

    • This article was a total copy and Paste. Wow ! What journalism.

      • Scott of Nazareth says:

Joe – the header states quite clearly that its a “Press Release”, which is created by the Public Relations team at the Union and sent out to various news outlets for them to Copy/Paste and share with their readers.
        .
Considering we’re in the doldrums of the off season, I appreciate any content PSP is willing to offer.

  3. I did not think Carranza had a good year in 2023 so I will be surprised if he goes over seas.

  4. Wagner signed a 3 year deal with Union yesterday… Caranza is next… then Bedoya as a back up… and from somewhere a goalie under 30 years old with MLS experience will arrive.

The goalie I think is key… 4 Tournaments plus MLS games, friendlies and Union II games.

Off season underwhelming for a reason. Not much to do after a disappointing year. Did anyone really expect Herr Tanner to sign a “Messi type”? Well, that’s just silly… we all knew exactly what he was doing, no PR involved.

    DOOP!

Feb 24th 730pm… The clock is ticking… Doop, Doop, Doop.

Here’s to hosting MLS Cup 2024 in Chester.

    Nothing else matters, Jim.

    • Good news on Wagner. Saw the report on the FAN website. I think Caranza will be here for ar least 1 season. Agree priority should be a legitimate secondd goalie. Blak is tremendous but he has international obligations and should not be wasted in BS tournaments plus he isgett8ng a little older.Baribo needs playing time or we will have wasted his acquistion.Dont even know his strengths and he had virtually no yime to work out any rhythm with his teammates. Torres was a bust move on please. Take a chance on someone else. At least our left half of the field look solid with Wagner and Mcglynn giving service to right footed forwards. We do need a 3.0 version of Ilsinio off the benchwhen we need to break the other ream down with ball control plus an attack mind. Like you said this team will never acquire a Messi caliber player. Messi will be lucky to survive a half of season
