Checking in on Wrexham

Bringing you up to date on all things Wrexham:

  • Wrexham now sit in second place in the English National League, 4 points behind Notts County, 7 points ahead of Chesterfield
  • Wrexham have won 14 home games in a row, the second best start to the season in the club’s history,  extending the club record since joining the Football League, and the 3rd longest run in the club’s history.
  • Wrexham have scored in 33 consecutive home games, the 4th best run in club history.

Wrexham’s Boxing Day home fixture against Solihull Moors will be streamed live and worldwide on National League TV, the league’s new streaming platform.

  • Following the successful soft launch of the platform, which saw Wrexham supporters worldwide tune in to the 2-0 victory against Eastleigh on Saturday December 10, the platform is now set for its full launch.
  • The stream will be delivering a multi-camera feed for all home games, with instant replays – provided by 247.tv – as will be the case for Monday’s match at home to Solihull Moors.
  • Solihull will provide multi-camera coverage of the reverse fixture on Monday January 2 too, to enhance the offering for supporters of both teams.
  • As both games fall outside the Saturday 3pm kick-off embargo, the matches will be available to stream in both the UK and worldwide.
  • A match pass costs £9.50 per day – giving access to all National League TV matches streamed that day – while international supporters can also purchase a half-season pass for £80 or a pay-monthly option at £22.50.
  • To buy your pass for the Boxing Day fixture, visit www.nationalleaguetv.com now – and when registering for the first time, don’t forget to select Wrexham as your Club.

  1. I’m not entirely convinced that Rob is really a Union fan, but yes I do follow Wrexham a bit. But there should be no silly friendlies between Wrex and the U. After watching the absolutely atrocious defense in the National League I think our U17s would crush them.

  2. He’s not, another ‘winner rider’… and I think maybe the U-12 could beat them consistently ……

But not a word about Herr Tanner as MLS Executive of the Year?

Congrats Herr Tanner. Thank YOU for turning this franchise into winners.

Merry Christmas and a Happy, prosperous New Year to all.
