The Union announced Wednesday that the club has signed head coach Jim Curtin to a multiyear contract extension.

The Inquirer’s Jonathan Tannenwald reported yesterday that Union midfielder Daniel Gazdag has withdrawn from Hungary’s Euro squad due to a minor knee injury

  1. Forza Italia! Love this tournament so far. Watching Denmark boss Belgium right now. Phenomenal for a team that suffered that trauma on Saturday. Can’t help but pull for them.

    Think Jim deserved the extension for sure. Glad for him.

    In addition to Jose Martinez, former Union striker Fernando Aristeguieta is starting for Venezuela and wearing the captain’s armband. (He also played 77minutes Sunday against Brazil.)
