  1. roundup missing the Columbus news: https://sports.yahoo.com/columbus-crew-bails-on-attempted-rebrand-to-columbus-sc-after-one-week-following-outrage-mls-032445332.html
pretty embarrassing considering the equity in “The Crew.” the groundswell of support from all of MLS to #SaveTheCrew not to mention now generations of fans in Columbus. no one but the marketing firm hired and the front office thought this was a good idea. they are keeping the stupid kickstand logo

Didn’t hit until almost midnight, I think. Thanks for updating!

Good. The rebrand was ill advised from the jump. Probably the same marketing team that thought the Super League would go over well with the public.

Would they say that Suarez “wants to sink his teeth into MLS”?

    Apropos of nothing above:
    .
These are Union matches that Andre Blake and Cory Burke will, should, and could miss playing for Jamaica in the upcoming Gold Cup.
    .
Will MIss (GC Group C stage)
Th, 7/8 @ NY Red Bulls
    Sa, 7/17 DC HOME
    .
    Should Miss (GC Quarterfinals)
    Th, 7/22, @ Orlando
    .
Could Miss (GC Semis & Final)

And what’s really scary is the Union’s schedule the first 3 weeks in August.

      8/1 – Chicago
      8/4 – Toronto
      8/8 – @New England
      8/10 – @Mexico City
      8/14 – @Cincinnati
      8/18 – NYC
      8/21 – Montreal

That’s 7 games in under 3 weeks. Hopefully they’ll find a way to move the Sunday game in New England to Saturday to give them more time to get to Mexico. (They’ll also need to move the game against New England in Chester currently scheduled for 9/15 since they play the second leg of CCL the next night.
