I would think that if you are a parent of a soccer player regardless of gender you should read this since you are concerned for the health and safety of your child.

As to the article, agreed it is indeed progress. It’s a nice thing to see MLS in the forefront and trial program. Putting a team/manager and even the player themselves in a position to choose possible long term health damage vs. continuing on in a soccer match is a horrible decision to have to make. Hopefully the program will stick and that choice won’t have to be made any longer.
