  1. What is Montreal thinking? The story suggests team officials think the name change will help distance the team from recent poor performances…. What? Mind boggling.

    • “We’ve decided to rename *bad thing* so that it will not longer be a bad thing. We’ve renamed it *good thing* so now it will be a good thing.”

  2. Union Hulk is hands down a top 3 all time Twitter follow.
    .
Montreal is making an absolutely ridiculous name change. Just awful. Boring and bland.

  3. Looks like there should be some actual Union news in tomorrow’s update as Corey Burke got a 2 year extension with a club option for a 3rd year. Hopefully he won’t have Visa issues.
    .
They also exercised 2021 options on Blake, Fontana, Real, Ilsinho, Gaddis, Mbaizo, and Wagner. Bendik and Collin are free agents but the Union are negotiating with both. The options were declined for Creavalle, Ngalina, and Wooten.

    • Union Academic says:

      NO!!!!!

      Not WOOTEN!!!!

He was my favorite striker who scored all of those goals for us — waitaminit

      Who was Wooten again?

Oh yeah, he will be the union striker’s who’s only credit will be letting a goal not happen… I mean it was a heck of a save… and it will be noted in the “fun facts” section of the uni-cyclopedia right next to Corben Bone’s fastest red card ever, but not sure he was worth the money or effort.
