Philadelphia Union

The Union will face the New England Revolution once again on Tuesday night in the MLS Cup Playoffs.

Andre Blake, Brenden Aaronson and Mark McKenzie were all named to the MLS Best XI.

You can Black Friday shop at the Union shop this year.

The MLS Cup Playoffs started on Friday night:

The New England Revolution defeated the Montreal Impact thanks to a stoppage time winner.

In a battle of expansion teams, Nashville steamrolled over Miami.

In a crazy and absurd ending, Orlando survived against NYCFC.

The Columbus Crew took down the New York Red Bulls 3-2.

In another crazy match, Sporting KC advanced on penalties over San Jose.

Minnesota United handled Colorado with ease.

FC Dallas shocked the Portland Timbers in a penalty shootout.

Manchester United got their first home win of the season over West Brom.

Josh Sargent helped Werder Bremen take a point from Bayern Munich.

Tottenham got a win over Manchester City to claim top spot in the Premier League.

Atletico Madrid beat Barcelona to expand their lead atop La Liga.

Liverpool cruised to a 3-0 win over Leicester City Sunday afternoon.

  1. Some great MLS playoff games this weekend. I think that Tim Melia saving all three PK’s that he faced has to be the highlight – and it pains me to give credit to a Peter Vermes team.

I hope this craziness does not continue at 8pm on Tuesday. I have confidence in the Union during this special season, but (and here’s the Philadelphian in me coming out) beating NE five times in one season seems like playing with fire, especially now that Carlos Gil is back and looked like a difference-maker against Montreal. It’s a shame that the stadium won’t be rocking on Tuesday. DOOP!!!!

    • Dude, I’m so with you, I think they have like a seven game winning streak going back to last season over the revs, and NE gave them trouble the last 2 times out..it’s definitely the Philadelphia coming out..but man , getting all the accolades, not playing for 2 weeks, and facing a team you have dominated the past few years has me really worried for this game..they have been brilliant all year, so not losing faith but I hate math and math says at some point NE is gonna pull out one of these games..just hopefully not this one

  2. The Sporting KC vs San Jose game was bunkers! Sporting KC was lucky to win. Hope we will win easier tomorrow night.

  3. It looks like Blake and Monteiro are ready to go but Mbaizo is in quarantine for tomorrow night.
