  1. Maybe it makes me a bad person, but I love seeing NYCFC and Miami continue to have issues.

    • I’m right there with you, though. However, it is also infuriating that the league allowed NYC to enter the league without a clear stadium plan when more deserving teams – Sacramento, Cincinnati, Orlando (who entered with NYC) to name a few – had to have concrete stadium plans in place, and in the case of the latter two they played in cavernous football stadiums and still drew a huge crowd. Actually even Austin has a stadium plan and that team is a sham. The world can’t take this league seriously when there are stadium issues like this.

      • All of what you just wrote also applies to Miami, along with their lawsuits over the name (which is an odd wrinkle). MLS could’ve told Beckham no – there was a deadline on his purchase option, as I recall. Yet they allowed it to drag on and on and on. And after all that, there’s still no concrete stadium plan there, either.

  2. Here is another take on the CBA’s
    :
Did the players do enough for themselves?
    :
Most leagues have the players receiving ~50% of the revenues
    MLS is closer to 25%

  3. Why would LAFC trade Walker Zimmerman?? Color me confused.
