  1. If I were in the position to afford being a betting man, I would have put the house on Sounders to win last night. How many times has it happened before? I feel similar, but not as strong, about Toronto. Let’s put it this way, I would NOT put any money on Atlanta to advance. That’s MLS for you. You can put a stunning season together and get beat by a team that finished 16 points behind you. It’s the magic of MLS cup. (Not at all being facetious or making a judgement. It is what it is.) I wonder how LAFC fans feel this morning? I’m not sure the Supporters Shield feels all that great right now.

    • John O'Donnell Jr says:

LAFC played a trap game and didn’t play with the same enthusiasm that they played the Galaxy with the week before. Almost like the only thing that stood in their way was Atlanta. If Atlanta wins it all you can argue this was their better season compared to last year. New coach, lost their best player, won the U.S. Open Cup and beat the Mexican champion for the Campeones Cup. Unlike LAFC, they’ve had a much tougher road this year with all the distractions (remember fire the coach) and still have a chance to repeat. Quite impressive if they win it all.

    • Well, well, well. …. Look at that result.

To bad you aren’t a betting man.
        Lol

It was a good game, although I only got to see everything from the first Toronto goal on. Mind you I did say if they win and watching the game they were the better team. So who do you like in the rubber match for the Cup?

      • Ha! Yes. Tell me about it. I like Sounders for the cup. But wouldn’t be surprised if Toronto steals it. It’s exceedingly strange, I think, for Toronto to be in this final. They did finish fourth, though, so they haven’t been terrible. Crazy.

  2. Doolsta will be missed. just like our chief tattoo artist.

  3. Atlanta vs LA FC would’ve been huge ratings-wise. Toronto vs Seattle is so … 2017. Gonna be honest. Not really excited about this one. Quality goals from Toronto. Guess I’m pulling for them but, meh
