Orlando City had the perfect plan to blanket the Union.

Hey, look, Philly fans are pretty good people (or are New York fans just terrible?).

In the news everyone’s been waiting for, the Union have narrowed down their search for Chief Tattoo Officer to thirteen candidates.

Chicago Fire have signed Bastian Schweinsteiger for a lot of money. Section215 asks should the Union make a move for Matt Polster? What does the signing say about the Fire’s previous offseason midfield moves? Deadspin continues their obnoxious MLS coverage.

Jeff Cassar is out as Real Salt Lake manager. Matt Doyle says the move comes as no surprise.

Ya know, both Whisler here and Kinkead at PV knocked Bedoya, but the guy is playing out of position with no clear offensive or defensive scheme. What would he have to do to get a good grade? What is he even supposed to be doing? Does anybody even know?

    • I have a feeling like the solution to the problem is a lot easier than it looks, but it’s just going to elude Curtin until he gets the hook mid season. Bedoya is basically just running into the box. Why not try swapping him and Herbers and call it a 4-4-2. Bedoya plays a position he’s used to and Herbers complements Simpson/Sapong as a second striker. Who knows. Perhaps that’s just ridiculous. But I agree. Bedoya is not playing like a #10 as far as I can tell.

      • Search for Chief Tattoo Officer was in fact search for new coach who can tattoo. Pro License Coaching Course and he will be ready for a mid-season coach swap. Moneyball

      • You might be on to something. Though I think the real money ball move is to promote Mo to player/manager.

Real Salt Lake haven’t won a game since August 2016 either.

  3. I’m very curious to see how Schweinsteiger fares in Chicago and MLS in general. Not sure he’s at all a need for the team, though I expect he’ll play well.

  4. i want Detroit’s jail stadium. i want them to wear black and white hoops and think of all the awesome synonyms for the place:
bastille, big house, brig, calaboose, can, clink, cooler, coop, detention center, reformatory, hold, hoosegow, jailhouse, joint, lockup, pen, penitentiary, pokey, prison, slammer, stockade.

you don’t get traded to Detroit, you get sent to the pokey. the material is endless.

sure, there’s a negative connotation to incarceration in this country, and Detroit needs more positives, but c’mon!

  5. I don’t care about this tattoo nonsense and I wish it would go away.

    • I wish snake bitten, unlucky, we have to do better job, Philly tough, we played good but we lost would go away too. Just win the f….. game.
