KYW Philly Soccer Show: Dominic Kinnear

In the latest edition of the Philly Soccer Show podcast, KYW’s Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch talk with Houston Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear. The always straight-talking Kinnear, who was first on the pod before the 2011 playoffs, shares his thoughts on the Union as they transition into the John Hackworth-era and discusses his own team, currently fifth in the Eastern Conference.

In part two, the Union have a new face on the team, Bakary Soumaré. The one-time  MLS Best XI selectee comes to Philadelphia after a stint in France and Germany. At 6′ 4″ 205 lb, the native of Mali gives the team some much needed size at the back. Also discussed is the big win against Sporting Kansas City and the victory over Harrisburg which propels the Union into the semifinals of the US Open Cup.
