In the latest edition of the Philly Soccer Show podcast, KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch are joined by Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Chase Harrison, who got his first-ever start last weekend in Dallas, helping the team to a 1-1 draw.
Harrison talks about the match, in which he took a physical beating but hung in as the Union walked away with a point. He also discusses his role as the Union’s back-up keeper.

After that Greg and Eli discuss the Union’s match on Saturday against the 0–9–0 Toronto FC, who are winless in the league this year. In the discussion are the possible lineups and formations the team might use in a game where they should walk away with all three points.
The pod also discuss the team’s US Open Cup match against the Rochester Rhinos of the USL, which will be the first time the Union will host a Cup game at PPL Park after losing the previous two years on the road to New York and DC.

Great stuff, guys. Glad I did not watch the Dallas game and had better things to do. Fully support your assertion that our current coach does not get the best out of the players; that’s the key job for every coach.
Really wondering what will happen on Saturday; Toronto may be on the roll after beating Vancouver and the coaching staff better be prepared.
