  1. Very interesting that they didn’t get straight right away who scored the 5th goal. I assume the person working the team’s Twitter account would know who the players are. Is Levi not supposed to be out there because he’s not under contract so they changed it to Mwanga to hide it?

    • Andy Dillon says:

Yeah, “Danny Mwanga” scored the goal … ooops, did we say Levi Houapeu?! Can we take a mulligan on that one? Sounds like, to me, that the B Team got a run out today versus a “weaker” squad than Ergotelis (McInerney, Agorsor, Torres) … so why would Mwanga be playing, and did they have 3 up top?

    • Ed Farnsworth says:

Scott from the Brotherly Game tweeted a question to whoever does the Union tweets (who does a great job, by the way)about Houapeu and the Union tweeted “No, he’s still with the club in Greece. As of right now, though, he hasn’t signed a contract & isn’t on our official roster.” I figured, since they answered that question I’d ask about OF and was told that such questions would be answered at this afternoon’s press conference.

      • Andy Dillon says:

With that said, I’m holding out that the details of MOF’s deal haven’t been fully ironed out yet. ::crosses fingers::

  2. torres is hardly “b” team

    • Andy Dillon says:

If the U goes with that “empty bucket” 4-2-2-2 lineup, Torres most certainly is on the bubble and would come on as a sub (i.e. “B Team”). Mapp on the left, Carroll and Okugo/Miglioranzi in the middle, Le Toux on the right, with Mwanga and Ruiz up top.
