Union pick 5th in 2011 SuperDraft

The Philadelphia Union will have the 5th pick in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft.

The two expansion teams will have the first picks of the draft, with Vancouver selecting first and Portland second. The Union also have the 23rd, 28th, 41st, and 59th picks.

The Union struggled to find a consistent partner for Danny Califf in the back and lacked any real width last season. What kind of player should they be targeting with their first pick?

I say we trade them all for Edson Buddle. This team needs an MVP-caliber striker…
