The Union home season in pictures

It has been an incredible year of soccer in Philadelphia. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be taking a look back over 2010, the year soccer came home to Philly, as seen through the lenses of the PSP photographers—Daniel Gajdamowicz, Paul Rudderow and Nicolae Stoian. Mwanga put the Union up 1–0 off of a Le Toux pass after eight minutes. Real Salt Lake knocked the wind out of the home crowd’s sails less than ten minutes later. It was a scramble, but the draw would stand.

Believe it or not, we didn’t have a photographer at the win over the New York Red Bulls. Damn. It was a good win though and a brilliant way to end the home season.

  1. Some brilliant photos there, especially Le Toux’s goal versus NE. Nice work. Love that last photo and its representation of RBNY’s MLS Cup run … crushed. How sweet it is!

  2. Great Pics!! Somewhere, in the middle of Section 101 (in the photo from the Houston match) is me! I must have had on my hat otherwise i would be clearly visible with the sun bouncing-off of my shiny, bald head 😉 What a great experience being there was. And autographs, too!
