Toronto FC’s first home match on the new grass field at BMO Field has been moved up to April 15, putting Toronto and visitors Philadelphia Union on national TV for a Thursday night match.
The Union today announced the rescheduling of the match, which was originally set for Saturday, April 17. Now, it will be a Thursday night game, played at 8 p.m. for ESPN2’s national telecast.
Major League Soccer has yet to release its full 2010 schedule, but its first few weeks are posted online. Â The Union’s first three matches will all appear on national TV, with two on ESPN2 and a third on Fox Soccer Channel.
