The Philadelphia Union have two tough road matches ahead of them and the latest edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show previews the action. KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch are joined by Philly.com’s Jonathan Tannenwald to discuss the away series.

First up, the Union’s disappointing 2-2 draw against FC Dallas last Saturday when they took the lead in the 87th minute only to see it slip away to a late, controversial goal. Some blame was placed on goalkeeper Zac MacMath for the late goal, and with the addition of veteran keeper Oka Nikolov, the pressure could be on the young netminder.

Greg, Eli, and Jonathan then look ahead to the two tough road matches, Wednesday against Real Salt Lake (10 pm, TCN, MLS Live) and then Saturday at Houston (7:30 pm, TCN, MLS Live).

Also discussed is another new addition to the Union, fullback Fabio Alves. The Brazilian, who last played in Australia’s A-League, has been brought in to bolster the team’s left side.
