The Union and Union II both fell to 2-1 scorelines Saturday night, to Toronto FC and Pittsburgh Riverhounds respectively. Gonazalo Higuain won’t solve all of Inter Miami’s problems. It was a big weekend for USMNT and USWNT players in Europe, with a number debuting and starting for new clubs.
The Union’s Andre Blake and Brenden Aaronson are both up for MLS is Back awards, while the final between Portland and Orlando is tonight. Blaise Matuidi is set to join Inter Miami, while Sam Mewis heads to Manchester City. The Europa League was back in action Monday.
