Despite going a goal and a man down, the Union rallied to an impressive 2-1 victory over DC United, sending them into the quarterfinals of the US Open Cup.
The weather dominated the day, as the Union were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw against the visiting Impact.

Jack McInerney scored in his return to PPL Park but Maurice Edu leveled the score five minutes later as Philadelphia Union and Montreal Impact split the points at a rain-soaked PPL Park Saturday night.
A tired Montreal side should be picked off by the Union at home.
Three points are always a good thing, but given their struggles to see off Seattle’s weakened team, the Union will have to take their game to another level when Montreal comes to town on Saturday.
