PSP would like to cover local teams competing in the early rounds of the US Open Cup, starting next month and we need your help.
Our regular writers (who bring you fantastic Union and Union II coverage) are stretched a little too thin to do the USOC matches justice. So here’s your chance to start, or re-start, your career as an amateur sports journalist.
Your US Open Cup match reports would also be shared with the THECUP.US, the only online publication of record dedicated to the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.
SPECIAL NOTE TO COLLEGIATES: Writing for PSP can be a great internship opportunity that looks good on your resume too.
Here are the matches we need to cover – All teams are APSL / USASA affiliates:
- 10/3 @ 2:00pm: Vereinigung Erzgebirge vs. Philadelphia SC at Vereinigung Erzgebirge Clubhouse – Warminster, PA
- 10/3 @ 6:00pm: Vidas United FC vs. Colonial SC at Victory Field – Plymouth Meeting, PA
- 10/3 @ 7:00pm: WC Predators vs. Oaklyn United FC at Scott Auto Field – West Chester, PA
All writers volunteering for these assignments will receive a PSP press card, lanyard and card holder.
