Real Central New Jersey, which competed in both the USL League Two and The League for Clubs in the summer of 2026, has finished their campaigns. Neither side made the playoffs in their leagues, finishing 5th in USL2 and 4th in TLFC, respectively.

RCNJ’s USL League Two squad, which underwent a coaching change early in the season, put out its lowest Mid-Atlantic Division finish since the team’s inception in 2021, when they finished 7th. RCNJ finished on 18 points in 14 games, with a 5-6-1 record and 21 goals scored to 24 goals conceded. Delaware FC finished with the same record and goals conceded, but their 29 goals scored was the difference in the tiebreaker.

In The League for Clubs play, RCNJ won just 3 of its 8 matches, finishing with a 3-4-1 record en route to 10 points and a 4th place finish out of 5 teams in the Northeast Conference South Division. They scored and conceded 14 goals each in their 8 matches. In the full Northeast Conference standings, RCNJ finished 8th out of 10, 7 points ahead of Kensington SC and Brooklyn City FC in last, but 14 points behind the three teams tied for first, Met Oval, Atlantic City, and Kingston Stockade.

Below are brief recaps of both of RCNJ’s teams’ July schedules.

USL League Two

Real Central New Jersey opened the month with a 1-1 draw at home to Delaware FC after losing 5-2 to the same side just days before. Edward Peralta opened the match by putting RCNJ ahead in the 19th minute. Tyler Flowers equalized in the 81st, helping to keep the teams close on points as they would eventually finish in 4th and 5th while being separated by goal difference.

West Chester United beat RCNJ 2-0 in West Chester a week later, Real Central’s 6th loss of the season. A first-half red card for Max Schared didn’t help RCNJ, who conceded once each half en route to the shutout defeat, including one goal from Ronan Sullivan, the brother of Union players Cavan and Quinn, and the twin of Declan, who also played in this one.

RCNJ’s USL2 season ended on July 11th with an abbreviated 1-0 win over Philly Lone Star, as the game couldn’t be completed due to weather. Wawens Zidor’s 3rd-minute goal put Real Central ahead, but with both teams already eliminated from playoff contention, the game was not finished.

The League for Clubs

Real Central’s lone game in July came on the 10th in a 3-2 loss on the road to FC Monmouth. RCNJ ended the season on a 3-game losing streak, getting outscored 13-3 in that span. Sam Tinoco scored and assisted for Monmouth en route to the win. All 3 of the hosts’ goals came in the first half as RCNJ was stunned, and the two second-half goals were not enough to recover a point. The three points Monmouth gained in this match propelled them above Real Central in the division standings.

Final Standings: Northeast Conference – South Division. All teams with 8 games played.

    1. Atlantic City FC – 7-1-0, 21pts
    2. First State FC – 5-3-0, 15pts
