Want to be more involved in coverage of the beautiful game in the Philadelphia region? We’re always looking for writers, editors, and photographers for various subjects — not just the Union — that spotlight the sport, its happenings, and its impact in our area. Here are some “Beats” that we would like to cover, but need reporters and/or photographers to cover them. Many are “results roundups” or news summaries that just need some online research and compilation:
- USL2 East Conference news and results
- Chester High School Soccer
- Philly College Soccer Roundups
- Casa Soccer League
- Philadelphia International Unity Cup
- Footy on the Telly
- Philadelphians Abroad (Follow ex-Union or Philly area players playing internationally or on other MLS teams)
- Fan’s View columns (Anyone can submit is you think you have something that should be featured)
We could also use more writers and photographers to cover the following regular Union assignments:

- Match Reports ( Yes, PSP puts writers in the Press Box during home games)
- Player Ratings
- Match Analysis
