What to make of all the weekend action.

Orlando City saw out a draw with 9 men at Austin.

Gonzalo Higuain has found a new role off the bench in Miami.

Toronto FC got some much needed scoring in a draw with DC.

The Revolution feel their luck turning after their most recent win.

In dramatic fashion, Man City clinched the Premier League title with a win over Aston Villa.

Liverpool did their part at a title shot, winning 3-1 over Wolves.

Leeds escaped the relegation zone winning 2-1 over Brentford.

While Burnley were relegated following a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle.

Serie A has a new champion as AC Milan raised the trophy.

  1. Never really expected City to capitulate, but waa left thinking it just might happen. Said to my son as we were watching Liverpool – Wolves and the clock ticked past the 70th minute, “I don’t know. I can easily see City scoring 3 in 10 minutes.” turned out all they needed was 5. With Haaland next year, any team that wants to top City for the title is going to need to shoot for a minimum of 100 points.

Glad Leeds stayed up. Not only for Marsh but for the $5 million the Union stand to make when Aaronson goes there next season.

  2. Deez Nuggs says:

Ha ha ha. Portland’s write-up is hilarious. Diego Chara “led with his head” in the challenge he got his card. Video puts the lie to that.

  3. Andy Muenz says:

Sorry, Arsenal fans, but Spurs going to Champions League.
