LOL. They just look at goals scored, not how they were setup. Sergio should have been the Union forward on the TotW.
+1
So I saw FIFA was in town today to assess whether or not Philadelphia would be one of ten US cities to host World Cup games in 2026.
.
I am figuring the following 7 are most likely slam dunks based on size and geography;
Los Angeles – Rose Bowl
New York/New Jersey -MetLife Stadium
Washington, D.C. – FedExField
Dallas – AT&T Stadium
Seattle – Lumen Field
San Francisco Bay Area – Levi’s Stadium
Boston – Gillette Stadium
.
Leaving Philly to compete for one of the three remaining slots with;
Kansas City – Arrowhead Stadium
Denver – Empower Field at Mile High
Houston – NRG Stadium
Baltimore – M&T Band Stadium
Atlanta – Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Nashville – Nissan Stadium
Cincinnati – Paul Brown Stadium
Miami – Hard Rock Stadium
Orlando – Camping World Stadium
.
I think DC cancels out Baltimore. Just not sure if they’ll want to put a 4th Northeast city in over Florida and/or the Midwest.
.
Unless I’m wrong about Boston…
