News roundup: Union sign Powell, Euro 2020 kicks off, Brazil opens Copa America

If you missed it, the Union have signed MLS veteran Alvas Powell. 

Jose Martinez made his first start for Venezuela against Brazil in the Copa America. 

The Union will be back in action this upcoming Sunday with a trip to Atlanta.

Christian Eriksen is in stable condition in the hospital after suffering from cardiac arrest.

      I had the game muted in the background and I look up to see everyone huddled around looking broken. I assumed worst case scenario it was a gruesome leg injury like Kevin Ware or Gordon Hayward. Insane to think millions of people almost watched a player die on the field. Makes you appreciate life.
