  1. Anyone have a read on why Powell didn’t make the cut at Inter Miami? Seems like a good squad member, particularly for a team that’s only managed two wins in 8 matches. My own Unioncentric view has become: If Tanner likes him, he must have value. Maybe he just didn’t get along with people there. Who knows…. Sounds like a good depth signing for us.

    • I get the impression, Inter Miami is more about the lifestyle and The name, more than the actual soccer. They seem to like to skirt rules and it doesn’t seem the best place to find discipline and work ethic. So maybe he was looking to just play and not be seen as well. I don’t know, pure speculation on my part.
