It appears the Union are looking to bring in additional defensive help and are targeting Jamaican international Alvas Powell.

Two Union matches have been rescheduled to accommodate the team’s CONCACAF Champions League fixtures.

  1. Article says Alvas Powell is green card holder, so will not take up an international spot – re-raising the question of why the Union bought another spot recently.

    50,000 people in the town of Vila-Real… yet Sacramento doesn’t look like a viable spot for ‘selection’ into first tier soccer in the USA.
