Could a Women’s Club World Cup be on the horizon?
I’ve been thinking about it and I’m not sure that the first 3 games are more important to the Union. Now that they have won some hardware, winning the US Open Cup is somewhat less important and with the condensed schedule, I don’t know that adding an extra 1-4 games will be good for them, especially if they make a deep run in Champions League.
An Open Cup run is always fun in my mind, but I kind of agree. This year might not be the best idea with everything going on.
