News roundup: Union win Supporters’ Shield, MLS playoffs set, big games around the world

  2. How crazy is it that there’s a decent chance the Union’s first playoff game could be against New England? They’re playing Montreal for the chance to face is in the first round. As much as I relish the chance to make Bruce Arena angry again, I don’t want to see them again.

    • Agreed. It is already half-insane that we’ve beaten the same team 4 times in one season (plus a draw). I would rather not push our luck with them. They underperform, but they are a talented squad.

      Alas, you would have to say that facing New England again is the most likely outcome…

    Crazy that the shield used for yesterday’s presentation was a fake. Using a Captain America shield with a sticker….so MLS.
