  2. Can’t believe I’m gonna be in a stadium Sunday. I had an unintentional bucket list going into the second week of March: to see my fifth different hockey league — NHL, Czech Extraliga, ECHL, AHL and LHJMQ (which never happened) — game in six months. The thought of being with spectators as the pandemic trends up again reminds me of that same week. I forged on, aware but not ignorant of the danger, refusing to bow. Every day another piece or normal was stripped away. By the end of my trip, Canada was in lockdown.

At the current rate of transmission, I feel this may be my last opportunity to experience a spectator sport for awhile.
