Biggest story of the day was that Man City’s suspension was overturned by CAS :-(. I was hoping the suspension would hold, their top players would leave, and they’d have to call players up from their farm club in the Bronx.

    • good news if you’re a City fan. punished a laughable dollar amount? sure, i’ll take it

      • Turn up the pressure on five oil pumps for a week.

I was looking at it from a Union perspective, although fans of whoever finishes 5th and 7th or 8th in the Premier League depending on Arsenal’s performance in the FA Cup aren’t happy either.

I’m not very hopeful as an Arsenal fan. But as a fan of fair play, the City situation feels very corrupt. What a pathetic slap on the wrist.

  2. Toronto blew a 2 goal, 10 man lead this morning. hats off to DC for being persistent.

    • Once again a match changes character drastically after the 70th minute.
      .
Conditioning, conditioning, … oh, … did I mention conditioning?

  3. been watching the NWSL tourney. they move to Rio Tinto for semis and final. broadcast and setting-wise, commendable job so far. nice to have noon games on during work and end the day on a match.

I’ve been watching it to, and while its been discussed to death – wish they would get rid of the fake crowd noise – its dumb and unneeded.

      • they do some laughably persistent things. the NWSLstore.com advertised all over is a dead link. the 10pm (our time) kickoff comes at the cost of the first 20 mins being sunblind by the camera. there are some great sunsets though. otherwise, a success till this point.

  4. Boy o Boy did Keegan Rosenberry and Austin Trusty look good last night. Oh wait.

    • ha! i hope they get some playing time.

    • In Tanner We Trust says:

I don’t feel the need to check up on them. The way I see it, Monteiro may not be here without those deals. And who knows if we get a player who becomes what we were hoping Fabian would be? I trust the front office and the pipeline.
