If I have understood Wikipedia, etc. correctly, only the last place team of the six in the relegation round actually gets sent down, and St. Polten are third among the last of the six with one game left to play. They have 22 points while the last place team has 15. So, if my understanding is correct that only one gets sent down, they are safe.

St. Polten won yesterday 3-0. Burke started, played 79 minutes, and was subbed off after picking up a yellow card. He did not score. He assisted on the first goal which turned out to be the game-winner.
