It doesn’t seem like so long ago that Union fans were staying up late on a Sunday night watching their beloved Boys in Blue steal points in the City of Angels.
It also feels like an entire lifetime ago.
As the world has reckoned with the virus and the way it has changed life entirely, so have we here at Philly Soccer Page. Because our team of volunteer writers, editors, photographers, and more are just like our readers (lovers of the beautiful game who have lives and jobs outside of the lines of the pitch), we thought it worthwhile to give you a glimpse into how the virus has changed us.
We’re calling it COVID-19: The series.
We’ll share bits and pieces, entire narratives, perhaps a fundraiser, some PSP-branded merchandise on sale for charity, etc… Until the games are played, we’ll do our best to keep things fresh.
There will be a home where all this content is gathered as well, here, and as time goes on we’ll add to the repository.
If you’re inclined to share something about your experience, please send it our way. A summary of how our readers are managing through this would be insightful in many ways and likely useful to our writers and readers.
As always, thank you for reading and be safe out there.
